
Everyone should read this book so they know the facts about these horrible diseases. This book will blow your mind. You will find out the difference between UVA and UVB (and UVC) rays, how to protect yourself from the sun and how to check yourself to make sure that you don’t have skin cancer. This book was written well. It is easy to read and it is sectioned in a way that it is easy to get to the answer you need.
If you've been diagnosed with melanoma, this book is a must! After reading this book, you will be able to clear your head and not only ask questions, but ask the "right" questions. The only thing it didn't cover is the fact that it is sometimes difficult to diagnose melanoma. Sometimes the results are not black or white...there are also grey areas. Overall, this book was extremely informative. Highly recomended. This book is a must for any melanoma patient or their family.
